With a professional background in counselling, psychology, and systems-based family work, I’ve spent over 25 years walking alongside families — in frontline support roles and within government, where I helped shape policy, audit services, and advocate for better outcomes.
But beyond all that, I’m also a parent of neurod

But beyond all that, I’m also a parent of neurodivergent children. I know the emotional terrain because I’m living it too — navigating systems, chasing support, and holding it all together when it matters most.
Swings & Roundabouts was born from that intersection: lived experience and professional insight, woven together to offer real, respectful support for the people so often overlooked — the parents and carers doing the invisible work every day.
